Pullman Passenger Car Pack
—–===== HISTORY =====—–
The Pullman Company was the top US passenger car manufacturer in the steam era, and as such, they could be found in virtually every major railroad. They also operated their cars, with the railroads giving them a cut of the revenue from the passenger trains. With the streamlining phase of the railroads in the 30s, these rail cars were modernized to better accommodate the styling of the era.
With the downturn or passenger trains in the 60s, the operation and manufacturing of the cars were ceased, and the company was dissolved.
Although the company no longer exists today, these railcars are still a common sight on tourist railroads and excursion equipment.
