The Timson 711-MarkCL Rivet Gun is a portable engineering tool intended for driving rivets in zero-G environments. The integrated machine action loader and recoil dampener make this device ideal for extensive repair works.

This handheld rivet launcher features:
– Three weapon tiers
– Custom fire and reload animations with particle effects
– Custom sounds
– Tintable textures
– Alternate fire mode for primary weapon variant
– Config for weapon and ability stats
– Prototype Armory/Covert Infiltration support

Can be added to inventory mid-campaign.
Weapon and ability stats can be adjusted for separate weapon tiers in the XComRivetGun.ini file.
Alternate fire damage can be adjusted for separate weapon tiers in the XComTemplateEditor.ini file.

Requirements:

Primary Secondaries (or the True version) and Template Master are only required if you want to use the Rivet Gun as a primary weapon with its special ability (Rivet Barrage). The primary slot variant also features a custom reload animation.

When using True Primary Secondaries, remember to uncomment appropriate lines in XComTemplateEditor.ini file (for secondary weapons) if you wish to enable the ability.

Alternate Fire:

Rivet Gun has an alternate fire ability: Rivet Barrage. This ability is available to primary slot Rivet Gun variant.

Launch a barrage of explosive rivets toward an enemy and detonate them simultaneously. Deals explosive damage (minimal piercing) and shreds armor.
This ability consumes all ammo points by default (threshold of 3 ammo points needed for ability activation).

If you want the secondary variant to use the ability as well, uncomment the appropriate lines in the XComTemplateEditor.ini file. Please note this feature is experimental and may have issues with animations/balancing.
