Half-Life: Alyx – Snark | Thanez Hands Edition
This Snark is an NPC model of the Half-Life: Alyx game released in 2020.
It took months to finish this model. I even thought for a moment that I couldn’t do it. I think it took 3-4 months, especially to add Particle Effect to the model. Since this is the first model I made for the Source Engine, it’s natural for me to have a hard time. In fact, if you see a defect in my model when you examine my model, this is a perfectly normal thing. I just found out that adding Particle Effect is actually pretty easy. But I’m new to Source Engine modeling. Also, DWBoyGamer worked hard for the Thanez hands version.

This model has a mix of Half-Life Alyx and Black Mesa animations. All Snark animations are from Half-Life: Alyx. Hand animations are from Black Mesa. If I had to use a simpler explanation:
"Black Mesa Animations + Half-Life: Alyx Animations = My Own Animations"
"All animations in the World model belong to Half-Life: Alyx."
In the view model, the particle effect does not occur in the front of the Snark’s eye. I don’t know why, but we tried everything for it. I think this is due to Black Mesa codes. For their help with Snark:
