Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Lifeform from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, has entered the fray! Shadow is a rushdown character who utilizes his chaos abilities to keep up his combos and keep his opponents on his toes. He has a wide assortment of moves and abilities to use, so always be sure to mind what options you have.

Like Sonic, Shadow will curl up into a ball and launch himself at the nearest opponent at high speed. The move has limited range, but it can be useful for keeping a combo going. However, be mindful of it’s cooldown.
Shadow launches a concentrated mass of energy at the opponent. It moves at a moderate speed, but can be good for keeping an opponent at bay.
Shadow uses a chaos emerald to teleport himself to a location of your choosing. You can decide where Shadow teleports via controlling the reticle that appears once the move starts. Letting go of special will teleport Shadow wherever the reticle is. There is also a limit to how long you can hold the move before shadow teleports. Hitting the opponent will allow you to use the move again and wont put you in free fall. However, you WILL go into free fall if you miss, so if you’re using it offstage make sure you hit it.
Shadow tosses a chaos emerald up into the air, activating a counter. If the opponent hits him, he’ll use Chaos Control, freezing time temporarily.
Hitting the opponent will store damage, which will then be added to Chaos snap, the projectile shadow uses once time freeze ends. Chaos snap will target any opponents you hit.
If you’re in the air and time freeze is about to end, Shadow will teleport to center stage and then use chaos snap.

Shadow gathers up all of his chaos energy and concentrates it into a giant, deadly blast. This devastating display of power is a one hit kill, but it takes a while to charge up and will leave you open for a few seconds afterwards. Chaos Blast is ready to use once Shadow has gotten enough hits during Chaos Control, indicating by a little spark by the side of his head.
Once you see that, it’s time to use Chaos Blast!
Shadow pulls out a gun. I don’t think I need to explain what happens after that.
Shadow will start to charge up for a quadruple chaos snap attack.

By holding down the attack button, Shadow will force the opponent to teleport around the middle of the stage. Though limited, you can influence where the opponent will end up when teleported.
By holding down either attack or special, up throw will do a different teleporting follow up. Holding special will double kick the opponent backwards, while holding attack while grab and throw them at a down-diagonal angle.
