Description:
What Is This?

This is a mod pack containing 46+ of my stable and up-to-date mods.

This pack is the culmination of 2+ years of my life modding this game and contains the latest versions of my best mods, with all bugfixes/improvements applied, and many which have not been published individually on the workshop.

There is a complete wiki guide for setup, config and mod descriptions (+ source code) on my Github: https://github.com/ZenarchistCode/ZenModPack

These mods either don’t affect game mechanics in a major way (ie. ZenSleep & ZenVirus are not included), or if the mod does affect game mechanics then it comes with a server-side config to turn them on or off as desired in %server_profile/Zenarchist/Utilities/ZenModPack.json

These improvements may or may not be applied to the standalone versions of my mods due to lack of time to maintain everything, so if you use a lot of my mods then I recommended using this modpack instead of the individual repacked mods and just turn off the mods you don’t want active in the Master Config.

This is another reason why I made this modpack – to keep all my mods organized and in one place. This modpack is designed to be as efficient as possible, so even if you only enable half the mods in this pack it should not impact client or server performance at all.

This pack has not been tested on a high pop server (my server rarely gets above 40 players) so I can’t promise it will work on extremely popular servers without performance issues, however it has worked fine on my server for the past several months.

This modpack also includes a #define ZENMODPACK so you can use #ifdef ZENMODPACK to detect/override things if required, or if you know what you’re doing as a modder you can just modify the source code and repack my mod.

I recommend installing this mod on a fresh wipe given the size of content and features, but that’s not a requirement. Removing this mod "may" require a wipe – in my testing it didn’t cause any issues, but again, given the complexity I recommend waiting for your routine server wipe before adding or removing this pack just to be safe.

If you do decide to add or remove this mod mid-wipe, make sure to backup your server’s persistent storage folder first typically found in %server_root%/mpmissions/dayzOffline.map/storage_1 so you can restore it if any major problems occur.

Installation Instructions:

Here is a wiki guide for setting up the types.xml and JSON config: https://github.com/ZenarchistCode/ZenModPack/wiki/XMLs-and-JSON-Examples

Install this mod like any other mod – copy it into your server folder and add it to your mods list. Make sure to copy the .bikey into your server keys if you’re not using a server management tool like OmegaManager which does that automatically.

This mod must be installed on both server and client.

This pack also includes ViewInventoryAnimation mod made by affenb3rt, modified to hard-code client-only config.
And WeatherPresets also by affenb3rt, modified to add weighted chance.
EarPlugs & AutoRun is based on code originally written by Daemonforge[github.com].
My treasure photo mod is inspired by Hunterz Treasure mod, but his mod lacked features I needed, so I made my own version of that same idea.
Credit to SpaceCat for some ideas and bugfixing suggestions over the past few months (and players on my server).
Credit to Expansion team and Syberia Project team – I learned a lot about best practices from studying their code.
Credit to any 3D model authors – check individual mods for specific credit and links to their work/licenses.
Credit to the DayZ modding community as a whole – learned everything I know from studying other people’s open-source mods and Discord discussions.

Repack & Source Code:

You can repack this mod if you like, and do anything else you want with it for that matter. Just keep in mind that any future bugfixes or improvements I make will not be automatically applied, so if you repack make sure to check back occasionally to update the mod.

The source code is on my GitHub at www.zenarchist.io

Enjoy!
