This Collection contains Mods that only work with Rising Tide.
If you want to play with the Classic Version of the game, use the Ancient Collection instead:

Designed around the idea of making existing mechanics more interesting and diverse this set of mods focuses on boosting existing mechanics as well as filling the game with more interesting stuff to explore. Balance certainly isn’t the main focus here. 😉

Some of the mod in this modpack are effected by the bug that makes unit commands vanish – that’s a general bug with mods that edit certain things and can unfortunately not be prevented (Firaxis needs to fix it). There is a workaround though – after launching the game and activating the mods (when the "Configuring Game Files. Please wait." dialogue is done) hit escape and go back to the mod menu – then click the "Next"-button again and start the game – the game will then work fine for the rest of the session. Yes, it’s a bit tedious, but at least it only has to be done once per session.
