Judean Army Expansion (Submod)

Hello everyone, here is my unit mod for Judea. It must be used together with my Judean Temples mod and will increase your Judean unit roaster by 19 new units. Most of them are using equipment from Desert Kingodm and Rise of Republic but you don’t need the DLCs at all.
You receive 4 new units to heir as bodyguard for your generals. 17 new units can be recruited, all military buildings get new units. Cavalry units can be recruited in stables unlocked with the temple mod.
Some of the new land units are also available as naval units. Judea receives 11 new ship units and 3 admiral units that they now are able to create navies.
To play with Judea you can use my Imperator Augustus faction unlocker.
- Zealots from Masada: similar to Agrianian Axemen
- Insurgent Militia: Weak spear troops with more men than normal troups
- Judean Chariots: Light chariots with javelins, can be powerful from behind, level 3 + bodyguard
- Scale-Spearmen: medium spearmen with scale armour, level 2
- Scale-Swordsmn: medium swordsmen with scale armour, level 2
- Temple Guard of Jerusalem: elite hoplites, only recruitable in the Temple of Jerusalem
- Royal Pikemen: elite pikemen, level 4, garrison unit for cities level 4
- Bodyguards: Spearmen with low unit size, but cheap and good defense, bodyguards only
- Judean Lancers: good shock cavalry, level 3 + garrison
- Judean Cataphracts: elite shock cavalry, level 4 + garrison
- Light Cavalry: like Greek light cavalry, slightly better
- Judean Marksmen: male and female archers, good accuracy, level 4
- Noble Resistance Guard: swordsmen with linethorax, level 4 + bodyguard
- Judean Pikemen: better than normal pikemen, level 3
- Judean Spear Cohort: heavy spearman with scutum like Triarii, level 4
- Judan Sword Cohort: heavy swordmens like legionaries, level 4
- Sons of David: just a few slingers with powerful accuracy and melee defense, bodyguards only
- Judean Thureos Spears: they replace vanilla thureos spears for Judea, slightly different stats
- Judean Thureos Swords: like thureos spears but with swords
Save game compatible. Compatible with most other mods except a few overhaul mods and those that change Judean building availabilities or it’s military group. Jewish Temples & Synagogues for Judea is required to run this mod.
Update: I have combined both Judean mods into my new Judea Expansion. You do not longer need to subscribe to two mods but can use that combined pack. You can find the link at the top of the mod description.
