SSL Dixie Kong
Diddy’s girlfriend comes to SSL! Utilise her hair to grab opponents or even on stage barrels that you can throw at your opponents.
Made for the SSL Jam "Small Lads: New Ideas"
Dtilt/Dair spawns a barrel if it lands on the stage or it can also be used to bounce off opponents.
Nair/Jab is a grab using Dixie’s hair that can not only hit opponents but can also hit barrels.
Ftilt can be angled slightly before it comes out so that the hitbox is slightly up or down.
Utilt is a three hit uppercut.
Uair is Dixie’s signature Ponytail Twirl that allows her to float through the air and damage opponents multiple times as well as recover.
Fair is based on Diddy Kong Fair from Smash.
Bair is a grab from behind.
Created by Aperson and Aether’s Asylum
Aperson was responsible for all coding and the animation of all ground attacks and movement.
Aether’s Asylum was responsible for the jumping animations as well as Uair, Fair and Bair as well as being the main playtester.
I don’t intend to make Dixie a full on Rivals character as this was just a quick experimental concept, however I am working on another DKC character to be released later this year and would love to see a full on Rivals Dixie from someone in the future.
