Description:
Roselia bedazzles the competition in SSL!

Roselia is the best Spiker in NU; it can fit on almost any archetype, checks threatening offensive Pokemon, including Wailord and Huntail, and is extremely versatile, being able to fit a wide variety of moves in its last moveslot to accommodate its team’s needs. In SSL, Roselia is a DoT all-rounder that applies stacks of Toxic onto opponents, making them take damage as they move horizontally! More stacks causes the damage to tick faster, and up to 5 can be applied at a time.

Neutral Attack – Poison Sting: Roselia charges up to 3 needles by holding ATTACK, then launches them all in a burst! Pressing JUMP lets you cancel and store the charge. In the air, the needles are thrown diagonally down.

Forward Ground – Grassy Glide: A spinning pirouette attack! Pressing ATTACK after the spin performs a follow-up that pops the opponent up.

Up Ground – Petal Dance: A powerful multi-hit kill move that leaves Roselia vulnerable on ground level if it misses.

Down Ground – Toxic Spikes: Throws out 2 toxic spikes which apply poison on contact. Toxic spikes are polite projectiles, meaning they’ll only launch the opponent if they’re already in hitstun.

Forward Air – Venoshock: A lunging punch with weak knockback. Hitting an opponent with Toxic doubles the attack’s damage and launches much further!

Down Air – Grass Knot: A vine grows beneath Roselia that lashes out, launching opponents up into the air!

Back Air – Poison Powder: A multi-hit array of poisonous explosions that each apply Toxic on hit.

Up Air – Petal Tornado: Roselia is surrounded by razor sharp petals, lifting her up as long as ATTACK is held.

Disclaimers

– Please don’t trash talk SSL on this character, or any character for that matter. It’s not only grating, but also makes me less motivated to work on non-SSL projects.
– No one’s forcing you to play SSL! If you don’t like it, that’s fine – just please don’t bully the people who do.
– You can exclude the SSL tag in searches, if you don’t want to see any SSL content on your Workshop page.
– I don’t have any plans on making my original SSL works into full characters.
– Making an SSL character is NOT lazy. I have a lot of other Workshop characters in the works (on top of having a job), and making something with a smaller scope is a nice fun way to boost motivation and just get something out there. What is lazy is complaining to a dev about something they made for fun, while never putting in the effort to make something yourself.
– Yes, people still play SSL! It’s been getting a soft revival recently, and I’ve been playing it a bit with friends!
– I’m still making other workshop content for Rivals outside of SSL.
