Codex – Sponsor Compatibility Mod
This mod adds support for the Codex Overhaul Mod for a few sponsors.
Supported Mods:
– JFD’s The Holy See*
– JFD’s The Iron Pact*
– JFD’s The Christian Democratic Commonwealth*
(*The Loadout Options that were bundled with these Sponsors have been disabled. While they are very flavorful, similar options are already available in the base Mod and I prefer all Loadout options in Codex to be available by default instead of having Loadout (and thus the strategies that players can choose from) rely on whether "Plugin"-mods are installed or not.)
These Sponsors now have access to their own Golden Ages, reworked Character Traits that fit the power level of those in Codex (hopefully!), as well as custom texts for the diplomatic system that is being used in Codex.
This Mod merely adds/edits code as required to make these sponsors compatible with Codex, it does NOT contain full versions of these Sponsor Mods as they were not created by me. You must also subscribe to one of more of the supported Sponsors (and activate them in the mod menu), otherwise this mod will do nothing.
The Sponsors that are currently included and their Abilities:
The Holy See
– Gain 1 Population in your smallest city every 16/12/8 turns
– Unhealth from Cities: +50%
– Unhealth from Citizens: -25%
Christian Democratic Commonwealth
– Coastal City: +0/1/2 Golden Age Points
– +4 Food and Energy from Trade routes in Coastal Cities, but Cities NOT founded on Coastal Land Tiles gain 25% LESS Food
The Iron Pact
– Gain 5/10/15% of Energy as Culture
– Start with the +1 Culture Upgrade for Generators already unlocked
– Cities with Garrisons yield +3 Energy
