Description:
Vaporeon from Super Smash Land is finally in Super Small Lads!

Vaporeon, the bubble jet Pokemon, is a tricky zoner with the ability to warp between puddles that they place on the stage! A lot of their moveset directly predates Orcane, and as such, a lot of their moveset has been made with Orcane’s frame data in mind!

Neutral Attack – Puddle Projectile: A weak lobbed projectile that puts a puddle on the stage! Puddles are a vital part of Vaporeon’s tricky recovery and finishers.

Forward Ground – Swift Swim: Vaporeon quickly zips forward, gaining brief invincibility during the dash.

Up Ground – Puddle Jump: Vaporeon dives into a puddle before re-emerging with a powerful hitbox! This attack warps to any onstage puddles, or creates one underneath Vaporeon if one doesn’t exist.

Down Ground – Water Pulse: A simple ring of water that pushes enemies away (it’s Big™)

Forward Air – Bubble Beam: A barrage of multi-hit bubbles that blows Vaporeon back. Once she gains enough speed, she gains a powerful melee hitbox on her back! You can also angle the bubbles up and down.

Down Air – Somersault: A stall n’ fall where Vaporeon spins in the air, then bounces up and flexes their body out when they land. You can press ATTACK during the fall to cancel into the finisher early, though this won’t give you a bounce in the air. You can also jump and UAIR out of the attack!

Back Air – Tail Whip: A tail swipe with a powerful sweetspot!

Up Air – Puddle Warp: Vaporeon does a small hop in the air. if ATTACK is held, she’ll warp to an onstage puddle! Note that this deletes the puddle in the process, so be sure to place a new one after!

Disclaimers

– Please don’t trash talk SSL on this character, or any character for that matter. It’s not only grating, but also makes me less motivated to work on non-SSL projects.
– No one’s forcing you to play SSL! If you don’t like it, that’s fine – just please don’t bully the people who do.
– You can exclude the SSL tag in searches, if you don’t want to see any SSL content on your Workshop page.
– I don’t have any plans on making my original SSL works into full characters.
– Making an SSL character is NOT lazy. I have a lot of other Workshop characters in the works (on top of having a job), and making something with a smaller scope is a nice fun way to boost motivation and just get something out there. What is lazy is complaining to a dev about something they made for fun, while never putting in the effort to make something yourself.
– Yes, people still play SSL! It’s been getting a soft revival recently, and I’ve been playing it a bit with friends!
– I’m still making other workshop content for Rivals outside of SSL.

This character was made in ONE DAY!!!
