Omni V2
The Omni V2 is my faithful, low-cost, high-function Early game SV Jump-miner. This old girl has been a faithful servant and trusted friend in my playthroughs going on 4+ years now, and now she’s gotten a complete rebuild for Reforged Eden 2.0!
The new and Improved Omni V2 features Full forward, backward, and upthrusting speeds, the ability to boost forward to evade enemies and carry heavier loads at top speeds. Onboard constructor, shield-ready. The Omni features 2 mechanical drills to make quick progress toward your starter CV, & a constructor to assemble its own upgrade parts and to process Ore to ingots as you mine to reduce your cargo volume and weight.
This design is a happy marriage of ultra-low cost and extremely high functionality in all roles, making the ship easy to spawn in on any starter planet, any difficult settings, in any situation. While also still featuring the ability to Boost forward to Over-cap speeds.
The Omni V2 is the smallest, least expensive Warp SV for the RE 2.0 Framework, it carries MASSIVE amounts of cargo at high speeds, mines beautifully, handles beautifully, and features onboard Gatling-gun protection and the expansion capacity for a shield if desired.
