Primary roles: Starter SV Miner, Light combat, Utility, Storage, Upgradable

The Scarab-SCM (Starter Combat Miner) is a Reforged Eden 2 experimental miner. Designed to be compact and inexpensive with an unusual 3 drill mining set up. It also comes with twin gatling guns and upgrade options to add a turret, shield, and trauma station.

Stock Features

The Scarab-SCM comes stock with 6000 harvest storage, 500 ammo storage, 2 gattling guns, 3 mechanical drills, o2 and dispenser, armor locker, fridge, spotlight, WiFi, detector, storage box, and upgrade options.

Offense and defense

The hull is built with a combination of steel, cargo extensions, with some carbon substrate trim. The interior is made with the same. It comes with 2x gatling guns and 500 ammo storage (enough for 5000 12.7 rounds for the gatling guns)

Upgrade options

The SCM has an upgrade option to add 2 basic CPU cores, 1 additional 1×2 generator, shield, pentaxid tank, and 1 turret. Also, if you are willing to go slightly over CPU, you can also place a trauma station infront of the shield once the shield is placed. For placing parts, B=Basic CPU core, G=Generator, and P=Pentaxid Tank. A turret can be placed on top.

Notes: If you have a completely full load, it is advised to fly gently or you could slightly go over 100% power usage. If the Scarab was upgraded with additional generator/part package, this is no longer an issue.

It is advised to try and land on level ground as the interior is so tight, tilted to the right or left can cause issues getting out of the pilot seat.

One last thing, the design was very much built for 1st person use with good pilot visibility with an interior cockpit.
