GTFO’s Chemical Hazard Zone System
Adds simple "Chemical Hazard Zone" functionality.
Compatible with the Contact DLC Chemical Detector.
Requires ACE and CBA_A3.
Zones can be configured to have specific Loadout requirements to enter safely.
Zones can be configured to have specific Vehicles that provide immunity to the Zone.
Zone sizes can be configured to the players specifics (However a non-overlapping circle is strongly advised).
Zones can be attached to Objects to provide non-static threats.
Only Players are effected by the Zone, AI do not have clothing requirements.
Customization support through CBA_A3 Addon Settings.
Threat Level is from 0.00 – 9.99
Linear Increase from Edge to Center.
Protection Levels:
Mask Level 1 Protection: <2.0
Mask Level 2 Protection: <3.0
Mask Level 3 Protection: <4.0
Mask Level 4 Protection: <5.0
Uniform Level 1 Protection: <1.5
Uniform Level 2 Protection: <2.0
Uniform Level 3 Protection: <2.5
Uniform Level 4 Protection: <3.5
Rated Backpacks Multiply the Mask Protection by 2
Protection is additive.
Uses ACE Damage System, Damage level is dictated by the Threat Level.
Protection is a modifier:
Threat Level – Protection = Final Damage
This means at certain levels Damage can be high enough to break bones, however this means wearing some protection is better than none.
There is no hard-coded equipment in the mod, this means by default everything provides 0 protection.
For complete set-up:
x1 Chemical Synchronize Module must be placed.
x1 Equipment Box with Variable name must be placed.
x1 or more Chemical Hazard Zone Module(s).
Equipment Box and Synchronize Module must be synchronized.
Setting up a "Equipment Box"
Set-up:
> Place an container
e.g. NATO Supply Box
> Give the container a variable name
e.g. "chemzoneEquipmentBox"
> Clear inventory of container
> Add Uniform, Backpack and Masks to container (Quantity of uniform dictates protection level)
e.g. x3 Uniform CBRN White in the NATO Supply Box will provide Level 3 Protection.
Setting up a "Chemical Hazard Zone Module"
Set-up:
> Set Area (Zone will use the longest radius as its maximum distance)
> Set Shape (Circle is recommended)
> Set Height (Leave on -1 for infinite height)
Setting up a "Chemical Synchronize Module"
Set-up:
> Synchronize the equipment box to the Module.
> Box Name (The Variable name of the equipment box)
