Description:

For the third installment in my Civilizations Tweaked series, I’ve decided to look at Egypt and its leader Cleopatra. Personaly, I feel like when it comes to their civ ua it just needs a small buff, but when it comes to their leader ua I think it could be a lot better than its current version. Going off these thoughts, I made this new version of Egypt. I hope you all enjoy!

Changes
  • Mediterranean’s Bride has been reworked so that now International Trade Routes provide +3 Culture and +3 Faith, while Domestic Trade Routes provide +3 Food and +3 Gold. The idea here was to allow Egypt to use its domestic trade routes to quickly grow new cities while not losing out on the pontential gold that international trade routes provide. With that being said, international trade routes provide additional culture and faith so as to encourage the player not to forget about them in favor of domestic trade routes. The 100% alliance points from trading with allies has been kept in with this new version.
  • Abu Simbel has been buffed so that now monuments, shrines, and temples provide +3 Culture and +2 Faith when built in a city with a Wonder. The inteion with this change is to encourage a Wonder focused culture/faith playstyle that combos well with the rest of Egypt’s kit.
  • Iteru has received a small buff so that now City Centers receive +1 Production from each adjacent Floodplain tile. This applies to all three types of floodplains; Desert, Grasslands, and Plains. This bonus is meant to allow Egypt to better take advantage of their floodplain start bias as well as help give them more production towards wonders. I also thought some sort of bonus relating to floodplains was thematically appropriate for Egypt.
