Notes

  • Seats on deck 5 and 6 aren’t sittable due to.. ask Odotusvohveli.
    (Hey atleast they look good) – Odotusvohveli
  • Ship can get laggy – low physics detail is recommended
  • Engine sometimes overheats. This couldn’t be fixed and is probably due to the gas update. Turning engine overheating off is heavily recommended.
  • Multiplayer use is possible, but not recommended because Stormworks physics just freak out.
  • Switches for all lights in public spaces are on the bridge.

Procedures and checklists

Startup

  1. Go to helm at bridge
  2. Turn ON all breakers (electricity)
  3. Turn ON Engines

Docking

  • Ferry piers addon heavily recommended
  • Decrease throttle when getting close (throttle not very sensitive)
  • Use of thrusters heavily recommended

  1. Go to bow/stern, find dark grey instrument panel, or use the ones on the bridge
  2. Use ‘Unlock + Door’ to unlock the ramps and open the doors
  3. Use UP or DOWN to raise or lower the ramp (part A – lower part of ramp, part B – upper part of ramp)
  4. Use magalls to connect ramp to ground

To use platforms:

  • You can use platform controls in the bow and in the stern of the car deck
  • You can also use the respective controls to raise/lower the platform ramps

Faults

  1. Go to helm
  2. Press key 6
  3. Go to car deck
  4. Access door in the fore part of the stairway column
  5. Select desired fault

OR

  1. Wait for a failure to happen by itself, should take about 190 minutes (on average) in calm conditions

This is done using DDS (Dynamic Damage System), this system is a timer, that, when it reaches 0, it makes something fail. The timer runs out faster when the ship is in adverse conditions. A fault can be fixed using a fix button near it.

  • 15:40 CET, 2nd Jan. 2024 – Fixed maps on the STB side being inverted, added a ladder from deck 4 to deck 5 on the stern
