Farsæll, an Icelandic stern trawler, was constructed in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland, in 1983. It was one of four ships built with a similar design, including Otto Wathne NS, Harpa GK, and Sigurbára VE. Originally known as Eyvindur Vopni, the vessel was owned and operated by the Icelandic fishery Kolbeinstangi HF.
In 1995, Eyvindur Vopni was sold to Meitillinn HF, a different fishery, and renamed to Klængur ÁR. Just a year later, it was acquired by Farsæll HF and given its current name, Farsæll SH, making it the eighth vessel to bear that designation. In 2012, Farsæll SH and its assets were purchased by Fish Seafood EHF. In 2022, the ship was sold and sailed to its new owners in Huelva, Spain. Unfortunately, I do not have information about its current whereabouts or status.
