Land and Sea Expeditions
SUMMARY: Expand your land and sea borders with an expedition improvement.
TAGLINE: Are you lacking Landowners, Colonies or other effects that allow you to expand your borders? Do you have those options, but still really want to expand your sea borders? With this mod, you can build an improvement as an alternative to such expansion!
DESIGN:
Allows you to pay for and build an improvement to expand your borders, as an alternative to buying tiles. This is most potent as it relates to sea tiles, which are otherwise impossible to expand beyond a certain point (for good reason). The improvement will cost food upkeep. The land version can be built over with another improvement usually. The sea version cannot be built over usually, and will incur a permanent ongoing food upkeep in order to gain the advantage of expanding your sea borders into the ocean, which would otherwise be impossible in the base game.
DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING STATUS:
Mod has been tested and should be functional with no issues. Please advise if you run into any problems.
COMPATIBILITY:
This should be compatible with all other mods, as it simply adds new improvement build options.
