[Rythena] F-107 Ultra Sabre – Fighter/Bomber
I ate tootsie rolls while watching the Pilotphotog vid, so now i taste tootsie rolls when i look at it
The North American F-107 is North American Aviation’s entry in a United States Air Force tactical fighter-bomber design competition of the 1950s. The F-107 was based on the F-100 Super Sabre, but included many innovations and radical design features, notably the over-fuselage air intakes. The competition was eventually won by the Republic F-105 Thunderchief, and two of the three F-107 prototypes ended their lives as test aircraft. One is on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force and a second at Pima Air and Space Museum.
Cail speaking, Tbh i wanted to make it because i didnt have it and it wasnt on workshop. even if it was i wouldnt use the workshop one bc i hate using workshop creations when i know i can make this all either by myself or with a bit of colab!
Irl this was a fighter bomber, i very slightly modernised it with new Air-Ground missiles and multiuse missiles. The real one has 4 20mm, but in SW i could only fit 2 30mm. The 20mm quad cannon art is still there through!!. The jet lastly has 4 Laser bombs, but since this doesnt have a laser, they are dumb bombs (Like the real one)
Yes! This jet is 1:1 scale (Including the needle) The jet has a simi-accurate cockpit and is very carfuly modeled after the real jet! The canopy is slightly off, but ya know.. Stormworks… and maybe my lack of ability to make canopys…
Speed- 730kph 10 Hardpoints Twin 30mm Heated so about realistic alt Single Seat 4100 liters (Around 100-200 km range i think)
Mrmerescratch- Testing (Flight) Engine optimising, weight opting, realism checks, tail art smoothing, fail testing Riverala82- Front gear, nose mods, Also realism checks, cockpit design, overveiw of 1:1 stuff. Cailean.Coleman- Shell of jet, Controling systems, MCs, test flying, weapons constructor.
