Description:

Adds Castle Town civilizations led each by Misaki and Haruka separately. They can be played alongside all previous Castle Town civilizations.

Screenshots are in Korean but the mod fully supports English.

Misaki’s Castle Town is based on numbers, having the ability to duplicate units and Great People, while also having a strong diplomatic edge. Misaki is probably the most flexible of the Castle Town civs, and even though Misaki leans towards a Diplomatic Victory, Misaki may choose any victory.

Haruka’s Castle Town is much more RNG based, and while his base bonuses aren’t as strong as the other Castle Town civs, his conditional bonuses if triggered often enough will allow him to be at par or exceed the other Castle Town civilizations.

Misaki’s Trait: All for One

First Military and Civilian Unit produced or purchased are cloned, as is every 3rd unit afterwards (they are counted separately). The 3rd Great Person, and every 7th Great Person afterwards is also cloned, although Great Prophets cannot be cloned. Start with a Laborer.

Misaki’s Unique Unit: Laborer

Replaces the Worker. May be airdropped when starting a turn in friendly territory. If the Laborer is cloned by the effect of All for One, the cloned unit instead becomes the Community Service Volunteer, who has all the Laborer’s abilities, as well as the ability to conduct city-state mission for very small amount of gold and some influence.

Misaki’s Unique Building: Oratorial Space

Replaces the Bank. +1 Tourism and +2 Culture in addition to the regular Bank’s bonus. Also, grants +10 Influence with all city-state that are met, and another +20 to the city-state which is closest to the city.

Haruka’s Trait: Lots of Next

Free Forecaster at the discovery of Mathematics. After the first Forecaster is spawned, gain a bonus if spawning a Great Person type as indicated by the forecast UI. Cities in We Love the King Day gains +10% Production and spawn Great People 50% Faster.

Haruka’s Unique Unit: Forecaster

Replaces the Great Scientist. Retains all the bonuses of one, while also providing a small amount of gold, culture, or faith randomly when expended, bonus scaling with era. Rerolls the Great People pointer when spawned.

Haruka’s Unique Building: Fan Cafe

Replaces the Broadcast Tower. Requires only a Monument to be built rather than a Mouseion. Culture modifier is increased to +50%, and provides 3 Local Happiness.

AI

Misaki is like many of the civilizations here a friendly one, even though Misaki’s bonuses will make Misaki a bit expansionist and also leads to her rather large military size. Misaki is not too keen on building a large offensive army, although her slightly above defensive tendencies will compound with her trait to lead to a big army. Misaki will focus happiness the most, and also Production second. Misaki will generally aim for a Diplomatic Victory.

Haruka is second only to Kanade in competitiveness. and much less friendly than Misaki, preferring to stay neutral or perhaps even guarded. Whereas Misaki will try to be active in grabbing city-states, Haruka is much less inclined to mess with city-states. Haruka is average in expansion, although he will focus on improving his tiles, building roads, and will focus Science and Great People.

NOTE: This civilization was released through a workaround 7-Zip Compression instead of the ModBuddy’s default compression due to the MSB4018 error. If the civilization will not unzip or install, manually download the .civ5mod file through Steam Downloader (or find it in the Mods folder), change the file format to ZIP, and then use AlZip, WinZip, 7-Zip or any other unzipping program and unzip the content to the Mod folder. However, WinRar doesn’t work, and if any unzipping programs do not work, try either AlZip or 7-Zip, which have been tested and proven to work.
