SNCF X4300 ‘Caravelle’
The X 4300 series of the French state rail company SNCF was a series of two-part diesel railcars that were in use from 1963 to 2009. With the vehicles of the X 4500 , X 4630 , X 4750 and X 4900 series , it was part of the family of – due to the engine noise – so-called Caravelles ,all of which were built by the Ateliers de construction du Nord de la France (ANF).
