ÖBB ´Eurofima´ UIC Z and successor
In the 1970s, some Western European railway administrations jointly procured comfortable UIC-Z passenger coaches, the so-called Eurofima coaches. At the same time, the Eurofima painting `orange / gray ‘was introduced, which ensured a uniform appearance. Apart from the joint procurement, individual railways added orders with partial deviations from UIC-Z. The European railways finally went their separate ways again for successor series.
