Terraforged Challenge Doors
Makes it possible to spend Ancient Essence to craft Challenge Doors at the Terraforge found at the end of Ancient Vaults.
This attempts to tie up some loose ends in Starbound’s gameplay loop by providing a renewable (but non-cheaty) source of Challenge Doors as well as a late-game essence sink. Useful for those who are uninterested in terraforming and would rather spend their essence on opportunities to acquire some extra loot.
It costs 750 Ancient Essence to make 1 Challenge Door. This mod does not alter the functionality of the Challenge Doors themselves; they will still disappear when broken. Enemies and loot encountered in challenge rooms will scale with the hazard level of the planet the door is placed on.
This mod is safe to remove at any time.
