back in late 2020, i wanted to recreate some of the serious sam maps in black mesa, though i (and still tbh) didn’t understand how hammer worked. In September 2021, i started making the beginning of the dunes level, including the slums, the grand pyramid. And in 2022. i started working on karnak, and last year i started work on on this one.

Though this has become an off and on again project of mine for the last four years, this is the first map of the series that i’ve been able to complete. Hopefully in the future i’ll be able to finish the other levels and put them all into this mod. I’m not recreating all of serious sam tfe levels just a few when i had suddenly got the urge to recreate them at 2am.

How to play- Go into console commands and type map luxor and it should appear.
Alt- go to *Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent362890 and sort by date modified and it should 3300615980.

There are a few issues here and there, it can be laggy in some areas, though i’ve tried to optimise the map as best as i can, but i suck at optimisation.

I’ve included the mapsrc too, for anyone wanting to edit the map, port it to gmod or such. All i ask for is credit.
It’s in the Serious_Freeman resources file, use gcfscape to access and extract the mapsrc, textures, models, sounds and soundscape.

You need to find the vpk file and put it in your custom folder.
If you don’t have a custom folder, look at this guide by citizen.
