Description:
Risk Of Raining – Elite Equipment

This mod adds the Aspect Elite Equipment from Risk Of Rain 2 to RimWorld.
Each Elite Equipment can be equipped on the belt utility slot of pawns to provide some sometimes underwhelming EXTREME POWER.

This was a mod done in my limited free time (and my first mod!), I have tested as much as I can, but I’m sure there are plenty of issues and compatibility problems. Please let me know in the comments if you find any issues.

I expect nothing but your finest 1 star reviews.

The equipment follows the Risk Of Rain 2 item effects as closely as possible, with some changes to fit RimWorld better mechanically, or to buff/nerf those effects.
All equipment can be found on the Risk Of Rain 2 Wiki, but here is the short version

  • Her Biting Embrace – Adds a stacking slow debuff to hit targets that adds an execute-like effect at high buildup. In addition, pawns explode on death.
  • His Reassurance – Adds a massive passive healing boost to pawns wearing the item, and provides an ability to rapidly heal nearby pawns.
  • Ifrit’s Distinction – Attacks deal an additional 50% damage and sets targets on fire.
  • N’kuhana’s Retort – Hit targets gain a debuff that prevents all healing – In addition, attacks have a chance to drop temporary mines around the attacking pawn, that when expire/explode, leave additional temporary traps.
  • Shared Design – Attacks have a chance of exploding the hit target for extra damage – Pawns wearing the item also gain additional movement speed, and a large shield (works for melee and ranged attacks) but will take much more damage once the shield is broken.
  • Silence Between Two Strikes – As above but with less shields and bomb damage is guaranteed.
  • Spectral Circlet – Attacks slow hit targets greatly – Additionally grants an ability to make all friendly pawns in range invisible for a time.

These items are not intended to be balanced (they really aren’t in Risk Of Rain 2), but are intended to introduce some chaos to colonies and raids.
