Eater of Worlds (Terraria) [Ragdoll]
"A horrible chill runs down your spine…"
The Eater of Worlds, a gigantic corrupted worm that awakens upon breaking several shadow orbs. Using his extreme size and speed, he charges his target from the underground, and quickly surrounds his foes with several sections of his body. As he takes damage, he splits into several autonomous sections, which immediately enter the fray as new combatants.
There isn’t much to be said about the Eater of Worlds. He’s a giant, gross, corpse worm. The original idea was to make something that was very realistic and disgusting, but I ended up toning it back. Eventually, I settled on something that was more in the style of Skeletron and Eye of Cthulhu. Exaggerated, but still holding true to the original likeness.
He has four different lengths; Tiny, Small, Medium, and Large. You likely won’t need anything longer than large. The large version, by virtue, is quite expensive. Try not to spawn too many of them if you value your framerate. Also, be sure to spawn the larger worms in midair. Otherwise, you’re going to have to pull them out of the ground.
This submission also comes with some comically small worm food, which is the same as the item used to summon him in Terraria.
