avHUD 3
Alternative Vanilla HUD 3
A threequel to the first ever HUD I made around this time 2 years ago.
This initially was supposed to be some sort of improvised version of the HUD you see in the Zombies mode in the earlier Call of Duty titles but it eventually evolved into this.
Features:
- Mostly grungy interface
- Left-sided, layered/vertical survivor panels
- Centered progress panel
- Lower weapon panel
- Teammate health counters
- Animated incap icon
- Dark and raised chat panel
- Support for most custom crosshairs (Check here for available custom crosshairs)
- Support for centered radial health bars (CRHB) (Check here for available radial health bars)
Replaces the local player, teammate, weapon, survival, gas can and progress bar panels.
NOTE:
- This HUD is not guaranteed to work properly with a Steam Deck. L4D2 has specific parameters that are applied to certain UI elements when it detects that it’s being played on a Steam Deck, since I do not own a Steam Deck, I am unable to check whether it looks okay or not.
- This HUD was made in a 1920×1080 resolution, so certain elements may not look accurate at lower resolutions.
- If you have a survivor mod that replaces the survivor incap .vmt for whatever reason, the game will say that there are conflicts and the incap panel MIGHT be bugged. In theory, even with the conflicts, everything should still function as normal but in case it doesn’t, one way of fixing this is by changing the mod priority, other than that there really isn’t much I can do.
