SA-2 "Guideline" SAM Site
REQUIRES S.O.G. PRAIRIE FIRE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY
With the addition of the S.O.G Prairie Fire CDLC, the S-75 Dvina (NATO desig. SA-2) was added. I’ve recreated a proper SA-2 launch site on Altis, just east of Athira airport at Telos military complex.
The site features one P-12 "Spoon Rest" search radar, one RSN-75 "Fan Song" engagement radar, six SM-90 launch rails and two spare missiles (on ZiL-157 trucks).
Auxiliary parts of the installation include three checkpoints at the entrance to the site, two PK machinegun nests and a munitions storage area.
The garisson consists of a couple of CSAT soldiers wearing outdated uniforms, to give a proper "middle eastern" look to the site.
The layout of the site is based off of this article [www.ausairpower.net] and several aerial photographs of similar sites. Due to the layout of the roads, access to the launchers is rotated 90 degrees.
