Modern Team Voices: French
Over 350 voicelines in French.
The other french voice mods on the workshop are fine but they have 2 main problems, Verdun Fench voices aren’t spoken by a native and it shows, and 3/4 of the others either speaks in english with a french accent or are limited to 10 voicelines.
This mod aim to fix that by throwing so much stuff into the mix that whenever you’ll start a gunfight you’ll get your ear drums pierced.
All voicelines were extracted, recorded, and modified by me, it was a lot of work so consider trying the mod before passing on it.
Those voicelines are better suited for a modern setting due to these reasons:
Reference to helicopters
Some englisism, they’ll often use words such as "cool", "ok", or even talk about boosts.
They’ll often refer to units as operators.
They’ll even talk about football matches.
They can say a lot of different things, including:
Calling out vehicles, ex "This tank is empty, I’m going for it"
Turrets, ex "Get to the 50 cal now"
Repairs, ex "I’ve repaired the turret"
Classes, ex "Enemy medic is down"
What they’re doing, ex "I’m going to the command post" or "I’ll follow you"
And many many more.
I made 2 previews, the first video is for the soldiers yelling and screaming, the second for the announcer.
