The Sims™ 4 – Gamepad/Controller [Jan. 2019]
Note: This is for the 64-bit executable (TS4_x64.exe).
Required: Please enable the Sims 3 Camera.
[Menu > Game Options > Game Camera > The Sims 3 Camera]*
How to enable this profile:
1) Subcribe to download.
2) Proceed to "Settings" in Controller Companion (Right click on its icon in the notication bar).
3) Go to "Profiles" and click "Refresh Workshop Profiles".
4) The profile should be there, now launch The Sims 4.
5) If you are in fullscreen mode in The Sims 4, turn on the profile/controller companion by pressing and holding "Back" and "Start" together on your Xbox controller (or the respective buttons on your Xbox One controller).
Control Layout:
- Left Analog – Mouse/Cursor.
- Right Analog – Zoom In/Out
- A – Select/Left click
- B – [Shift] Hold to move cursor in first person mode.
- X – Move Camera/Right Click.
- Y – Show Sim’s Need Levels
- LB – First Person View mode.
- RB – Show Virtual Keyboard (It’s a little buggy on my end).
- LT – Move Camera/Right Click.
- RT – Camera Tilt/Pinch.
- Back – Menu
- Start – Pause/Start for Live mode.
- Left Analog button – Take screenshot
- Right Analog button – n/a
- D-Pad Up – Zoom In
- D-Pad Down – Zoom Out
- D-Pad Left – [Tab] Hide UI/Free Cam
- D-Pad Right – n/a
- Xbox button – n/a
