Ultra Compatible Realistic battle mod
This mod’s main job is to provide a realistic combat experience. Without altering any specific unit information, (only base values) The compatability should affects all unit mods, as well as compatibility for other overhaul mods such as "Radious Total War" as well as all DLC
The mod features look to enhance seemingly minor values for big results. These results are as follows;
+Better shield protection agains missiles
– units are more protected from forntal attacks
– this makes flanking missile attacks more important
– arrow damage has been increased (however this effect is only made to further the difference between frontal and rear / flanking assults)
+Combat is slower but involved
– soldiers fight more defensively
– flanking effects have a stronger moral effect
– units will return from fleeing more frequently
– rear charges from shock cavalry will rout most soldiers
– consideration has been made for Radious tier system
+Missiles have a disrupting effect on units
– simulate blocking and dodging missiles and being generally startled (adds a slight knockback)
– pikes are vulnerable to this disruption (tenukids pikes resist better than others)
– precursor weapons such as infantry javelins have a higher disruption effect than arrows or slings.
+Movement speeds altered (generally lowered)
– terrain effects such as forests affect cavalry more negatively
– forests benefit skirmish and light infantry more (respectively)
– unit weight has a more negative effect on speed and subsiquently slight stamina
