Description:

Our second clade based pack will focus on a group of ray finned fish. This collection focuses on Cenozoic members of the Tetraodontiformes, the group made up of boxfish, pufferfish, triggerfish and relatives.

Each member of this pack was present in the Monte Bolca Formation of Eocene Italy. Inexperienced aquaria will be able to easily house some of these fish and no specialty equipment is required.

Eotetraodon pygmaeus
Proaracana dubia
Protacanthodes nimesensis
Protobalistum imperiale
Zignoichthys oblongus
