SS Papinniemi

Completed in 1905 as a passenger ship, the SS Papinniemi (originally called Karttula) served traffic in the vast lakes of Finland. She was converted into a tugboat in 1915 after switching owners. In 1945 she joined the clearing fleet and helped in clearing the Gulf of Finland of sea mines. She was almost scrapped in the early 1960’s before being sold to, yet another owner and being converted to oil power. A sauna was also built at the stern on the deck. In 1979 she was again sold to another owner, who converted her back to a wood fired ship. The ship’s home port is currently at Mikkeli
The boat was made before the space update so i make no guarantees on the functionality of the boiler, but it should move (remember to open the steam valve leading to the engine)
