UU – War Elephant – The War Elephant is the Mauryan’s unique unit and replacement for the Chariot Archer. It is more powerful (if slower) than the Chariot Archer and can move through any terrain without the Chariot Archer’s penalty. It can also be conveniently built without access to Horses.
UB – Pillar of Ashoka – Granting additional Culture compared to the Monument, the Pillar of Ashoka speeds unlocking new Social Policies. It also provides a free Social Policy when built in a Capital City, either yours or a conquered enemy’s.India – GandhiUU – War Elephant Sepoy – Cheaper than the Rifleman, and starting with the Woodsman and Siege Promotions, massed Sepoys can provide a strong force to conquer tropical or forested enemy cities.
