Sariel
Many people on reddit have amazing ideas, but can’t code them. I, on the other hand have zero ideas, but could code them all. Enter the Reddit’s Community Mods Project, where I’ll go and find the best ideas from the community, and bring them to life!

Today’s mod is the Sariel Familiar! Found in Angel Rooms, this little buddy will follow Isaac on pickup. He’ll carefully watch over him, and see if Isaac takes any devil deal (Just in a devil deal room, not any devil collectible. Those can still be taken).
If he doesn’t, at the start of every new floor Sariel will reward him, spawning an Angel Collectible if Isaac’s red hearts are full, or spawning three soul hearts and one eternal heart if Isaac is missig some red hearts.
If he does take a devi deal, however, Sariel will punish him, and, at the start of the next floor, he will leave him and turn into an archangel boss, forcing Isaac to fight him before he can continue the floor. Isaac will also lose Sariel, if he does so.
I hope you like this idea! It will be the start of a few mods I have in plan, made to power up the Angel Deal, and make taking the Angel Route worth the effort. What do you guys think? Let me know any bugs and suggestions below.
