Post-Apocolyptic Scrapping and Building

Machines and things you build have a more logical part cost.
Some parts you will only ever be able to find not build. Most parts once you get a robotics bench you can craft.
Haven’t you ever wished all those random tech parts you find in ruins are more useful, like the generator core? Make sure you save all that stuff you find now.
auto machines now needs 1 motor but reduced the cost of other parts.
Harpoon turrets need 1 skeleton muscle for each barrel, but reduced the other costs like copper plates by half.
Power generators need a motor and an electrical component but dont need the copper ore. Advanced generator needs the generator core that u can only find in ruins.
research bench IV and up require special items found in ruins.
a few more of the high end stuff requires gears or power core and other findable items.
remember you can get skeleton muscles and other things off of mechanical enemies.
Old Pcu units are found on skeletons in the ashlands and other places you will need one for the robotics bench. ( because the old skeletons have the memory of the old robot tech)
