This is an UNOFFICIAL modification of the Excelsior soundtrack mod, for those who have the Soundtrack Menu mod and don’t want to alter the default music tracks.
Includes support for the REPENTOGON features recently implemented into Soundtrack Menu, which allows for custom title screen and nightmare music.
Please give support and attention to the original artists, coders and composers of Excelsior, I have literally nothing to do with this project. All I did was edit a few lines of a few xmls and move a few files around.
I did not ask for permission to make this. If RENREN or anyone else involved wants me to take this down, I will without hesitation.
Note that the original mod had soundtrack menu support – the only reason i edited the Excelsior mod was to:
1. Allow users to have this mod’s music in the soundtrack menu selector without outright replacing the vanilla tracks
2. Enable support for more recent soundtrack menu features
3. Have less duplicate files, giving the mod a less hefty filesize
8/24/2024 – made it onto the featured mods!! tysm!!!
Unfortunately doesn’t include support for The Future or Revelations like the original mod did, due to me being unsure if Soundtrack Menu supports mods with extra music tracks/floors. The mod still works if you have them installed, it just will play those mods’s original tracks.
