My other gauntlet fighter, which I never ended up using in an actual match. It has better turn rate and top speed than my 109, but worse energy retention and is a far bigger target, which is why I decided not to use it.
Block count: 309
Top speed: ~730 km/h
Features:
– 3 engine speeds
– Triple x10 autocannon and two crossbows
– Flaps, good for takeoff, landing and turning
– Great maneuverability and decent energy retention
– Cockpit view
– Self centering roll with a reaction wheel
Controls:
Different from my previous planes, as per gauntlet requirements.
– TFGH+RY: control surfaces
– Lalt+AltGr: engine. There are two wheels, each with a key which allows for 3 different speeds: slow (just Lalt), for landing; medium (just Lshift), for taxi and fast (both), for takeoff and flight
– Up / Down arrows: toggle front / rear engines (to turn them of if they’re damaged)
– J: Flaps (toggle)
– K: Landing gear (toggle)
– LMB: aiming cameras (cockpit and 3rd person)
– X: cannons and crossbows
It can turn quite fast when using flaps, but they bleed speed and the turn becomes harder to control. Go easy on the landing gear, despite my best efforts it is a bit wobbly.
