Dynastic Ethnicity Meddling
This mod adds a simple decision allowing you to change the graphical culture or ethnicity of dynasty members in your court to match your current culture. The decision works on both children and adults.
Available to players only or to players and the AI based on your choice of game rules. Default rule is player only.
The rule allowing AI to take it helps it so that mixed culture/ ethnicity couples will follow the ethnicity of the father or mother, based on marriage type. For example, the French King of France looks French and not Danish.
NOTE: Having the AI setting on could lead to issues with graphical culture shifts like the Rurikids becoming Russian not Norse and the Karlings becoming French, but that’s up to you decide on. A matching actual culture requirement is added with the AI to try to combat this, as well as making the AI check for the decision less often and not be guaranteed to take it either.
Compatibility/ Requirements: Should be compatible with most mods as it does not alter vanilla files. This mod only adds decisions and game rules. Should also work for modded cultures from other mods. Obviously, this mod relies on the portrait packs to have its full effect so those are recommended to have.
