Legacy-Sounds
DayZ Legacy aims at bringing back good old memories piece by piece by changing or adding back familiar sounds and assets from the original DayZ mod.
This mod is not complete yet, various things will be added in the future. Feel free to post your suggestions in the comments.
– Zombie sounds replaced
– Ambient music plays randomly in background
– Some ambient tracks trigger on specific events (players nearby, dead players/zombies nearby)
– Flies effect on dead player bodies
Client-Side
This mod can only be used on servers that have added this mod to their allowed mods list (added the bikey to their server)
- Subscribe to the mod
- Use the official DayZ launcher to load the mod with gamestart or alternatively, use the unofficial launcher (dayzlauncher.com). The unofficial launcher will automatically load mods used on the server you’re joining.
Server-Side
Load the modification on your server via the -mod parameter and add the enclosed bikey file to the "keys" folder of your server. The bikey can be found inside the modification under "@Legacy-Sounds/Keys/legacy.bikey"
