Final Corridor (UNDERTALE)
"heya. you’ve been busy, huh?…"
The penultimate arena in New Home, now in Rivals of Aether. I’m aware there’s 2 other versions already here, but on has full-opacity pillars which are really obstructive, and the other has no pillars and has edges. I wanted to make my own take.
Sprites: Spriters Resource almost wholesale, minus detail updates via me (Sans in the preview is drawn by me!)
Music: MEGALOVANIA (Toby Fox, not the Smash version.)
PLANNED UPDATES:
– Dynamic transparency on pillars (Slightly fade out as a character is obscured by them)
– Aether Stage (Battle style plus shifting platforms and what’s effectively the menu bones in the second phase; these will increase in difficulty once when both players are less than 3 stock, and increase once more when any player hits 1 stock. These bones will deal 1 damage over 0.3 frames and won’t cause players to flinch, plus they’ll be easy to avoid.
– Code to check for Sans or Papyrus, playing more relevant music – MEGALOVANIA for Sans, Interstellar Retribution for Papyrus. Might replace main track once I can do that.
