Bytz Better Witch Hunters
Are you tired of the Empire’s finest Witch Hunters being only kind of OK? Are you tired of them not doing much on the battlefield? Then this may be the mod for you!
I was surprised no one had made something like this already, so I went ahead and put my rubbish talent to work making this small mod that replaces some of the Witch Hunters less useful skills with newer, more stylish ones.
Specifically, this mod replaces the weak Cornered Rat and Opportunist skills with two new skills that boost the Witch Hunter’s ranged ability and their melee stats (respectively).
They also get eight brand new custom abilities that allow them to augment their skills with powerful temporary and permanent buffs!
Even more, they get two new situational abilities from their Grim Resolve and Tools of Judgement skills that boost nearby units defense and the Witch Hunter’s own dueling ability (respectively).
Overall these make the Witch Hunter a decent duelist and hero killer.
I’m still debating some of the balance stuff so if you feel that the numbers are a bit too high, give a suggestion in the comments.
Should be compatible with everything unless they specifically modify those particular skills or for some infernal reason use the same arcane naming convention I do. If you find an incompatibility, let me know and I can try to iron it out.
