Chainsaw Man (Rebalance Tweaks)
All credits to the original chainsawman mod.
List Of Changes:
– All of his neutral attacks have reduced damage, due to his high mobility to rush a lot of attacks at once
– down tilt has been turned into a dash, dash attack has a little more speed and some knockback into it
– Removed the enourmous amount of hitstun globally on all attacks, since they make the character and just the game feel very sluggy and awkward (seriously why did they have so much hitstun)
– FSPECIAL (without upgrade) has been reworked into a get-in tool, reducing highly the damage and knockback, but making it faster, turning it into an utility dash (i wanted to make it so you can cancel it into attacks but that was exploitable to hit true USTRONG combo)
-Chainsaw Man is now faster, both normally and revved, however his resistance to knockback was lowered to match wrastor, turning him into a glasscannon damage dealer
-FSPECIAL (Upgraded) now has more knockback based on how much damage the enemy has, same with down special, making them better finishers but with some base damage reduction
To do:
-Effect Overhaul cuz those blood effects look kinda eh, and although the sound effects sound decent i think they could do better
-Sprite Tweaks (Change one or two sprites, without doing a full overhaul on his sprites, like changing the way he moves on certain moves to look more dynamic)
-Make USPECIALgrounded a true hook because its a very awkward move… (i have no idea how to do this so i will probably leave it vanilla, i tried touching it to mimic a hook better but it ended having weird interactions like sending you flying backwards if close to the platform edge and other stuff…)
-A meme skin?
-Color palettes?
Everything regarding this mods changes and the original chainsawman moveset are subject to future changes
