Panzerv1’s Cinematic Sound Overhaul

Fully custom sound overhaul mod with punchy and satisfying sound design to elevate your From The Depths experience!

Hello! Making sound mods is really fun so I want to give one of my favorite games a facelift in the audio department.
I’ll be improving audio from every corner of the game when and where I can.

! Turn repetitive sounds slider to 0% for best audio experience !

This mod is not compatible with any sound mod!

1. Navigate to the From The Depths menu screen and locate the CONTENT tab
2. Scroll down to the "Mods" section and select DOWNLOAD
3. If installed correctly, select the Panzerv1s Cinematic Sound Overhaul diamond/button
4. A window will pop up on the right hand side of your screen
5. Locate the Save mod in (new) folder button and click
6. Restart game to hear changes
7. Upon update, locate the same window and overwrite the folder (follow guide in same window)

1. Once mod is installed, navigate to your From The Depths mod folder directory

   WINDOWS: C:Users"name"DocumentsFrom The DepthsModsPanzerv1sCinematicSoundOverhaul

   MAC: /Users/"name"/From The Depths/Mods/Panzerv1sCinematicSoundOverhaul/

2. Locate the SOUNDS folder inside the Panzerv1sCinematicSoundOverhaul mod folder
3. Copy the SOUNDS folder
4. Locate your StreamingAssets folder in your From_The_Depths_Data folder

   WINDOWS: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFrom The DepthsFrom_The_Depths_DataStreamingAssets

   MAC: /Users/"NAME"/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/From The Depths/From_The_Depths.app (right click the icon and click "Show Contents") /Contents/Resources/StreamingAssets/

5. Paste the SOUNDS folder included in my mod into your StreamingAssets folder
   (copy and paste my "Sounds" folder into the StreamingAssets folder and overwrite)
6. If installed correctly, APS Cannon sounds will be replaced
7. Restart game to hear changes
8. Upon update, follow same steps and overwrite your SOUNDS folder! (recommended to make a folder quick access/shortcut)

• Finalized CRAM Firing sounds (they sound pretty damn good)

• Updated CRAM firing sound (Far more mechanical and visceral, give it a listen!)

• Added new plasma impact sounds (DOES NOT WORK – FTD incorrect referencing code for sound)
• Added new Core Laser sound (DOES NOT WORK – FTD incorrect referencing code for sound)
• Added new missile sounds with a little more even punch (Can’t fully replace missile launch sounds yet)
• Added new Warp Drive sound
• Updated Particle Cannon Shot

Some sounds may not install properly, if so, follow these instructions

1. Verify Game Files
2. Launch Game
3. Delete Mod Folder
4. Re-Install Mod
5. Restart Game
