Fast FlatLiner – Landing Craft
The FFL is a light civilian landing craft with a shallow draft hull design. It is configured for coastal environment up to 30% wind with a high mobility and simple controls. There are ample rope anchor points and four fastening winches on deck, passengers have a safe space behind railing in case the cargo shifts.
Controls
All but winch controls are in reach of the Helm.
Controls that need over-label information:
- Systems (key) toggles the majority of the boat, all electric but ramp and winches
- Throttle Cut Safety (flip switch) puts engine to idle if no player is present in the bridge
- Toggle Searchlight (helm button 4) turns on a searchlight on the roof with mouse aim
- Ramp Up (arrow buttons) can be double-tapped to automatically fully close the ramp, interrupted by any other input
Stats
Information
The boat can handle up to 9000 mass (in right conditions, sometimes only 1000 depending on Stormworks’ mood), best to put it in the rear.
You can toggle Reverse while moving without stalling the engine, it is recommended to slow down before to avoid a sudden shock that can destabilise the vessel.
