SVE VRO Trimmed

This mod is inspired by the Aesthetic Purist mods for SVE and VRO on Nexus Mods, but with a different focus.

Instead of focusing on visual style, this focuses more on removing excess numbers of ships for the sake of reducing mental load on players and balancing SVE a little more in VRO.

As such, this removes the following ships from VRO and SVE:

X3 Frigate Models

• Centaur – I just like the Cyclops better.
• Panther – Not a fan of this ship at all.
• Hyperion – Prefer the Artemis from Lint5’s Paranid Guardians mod

Terran Cruisers

• Makhaira – Too many Ter Cap ships
• Shikoku – Too many Ter Cap ships

Argon SVE Ships

• Aamon – Removed in favor of VRO’s Corona Battleship
• Enenra – Too many Frigates on the Argon side. For balance reasons, picking the Paracel over the Enenra
• Skiron – Too many Frigates on the Argon side. For balance reasons, picking the Paracel over the Enenra
• Basilisk – Too many Argon Destroyers and picked the Erebus instead.

Paranid SVE Ships

• Tartarus – Removed in favor of VRO’s Deimos Battleship
• Pallas – Prefer the Artemis from Lint5’s Paranid Guardians mod

Split SVE Ships

• Copperhead – Removed in favor of VRO’s Gharial Battleship
• Python – Not a huge fan of this ship and prefer the Rattlesnake, Taipan, and Gharial (from VRO) over this.
• Drake – In favor of the Taipan and Rattlesnake

Teladi Ships

• Egret – Overshadows all other gunboats and the Teladi Gunboats are already really good. Axeface’s Kea Corvette mod is also preferred.

Terran Ships

• Valkyrie – The Asgard is a beast of a Battleship and the Terrans only need one Battleship.
• Fenrir – The Syn is a great Destroyer already and the Terrans also have the Osaka. No need for a third. That said, the derelict Fenrir was left in the game.
• Claymore – With the Triton (VRO) and Scimitar (SVE), the terrans don’t need a third Frigate.

Yaki Ships

• Akuma – Doesn’t fit with the Yaki theme.
• Akurei -Doesn’t fit with the Yaki theme.
• Bishamonten – Yaki doesn’t need a capital ship, nor can they build it.
