Canvas – Paragon
While I find my EuroSpace ships usually beautiful, I wanted to improve my painting skills further. And since I always found the Starsector ships extremely beautiful (never played it tho), I thought I’d try and recreate the Paragon as accurately as possible while giving it all of my skill. My hope was that forcing myself to paint new, unfamiliar structures might expand my bag of tools and indeed it worked. I have learned a lot from this project. I have never before been able to make pipes, thrusters, trenches, weapons or shapes look like that. Hopefully I can transfer the skills learned here to future EuroSpace ships.
Note that this is not a functional ship. It’s an empty hull serving purely as a canvas for this art piece.
