1:1 USS Forrest Sherman DD-931 1955
This is the 1:1 Scale authentic replica of the Forrest Sherman which launched in 1955 to join the US Navy to be serving far into the future seeing various upgrades and battles.
The ship lacks interior only featuring the bridge and weapons control.
-Must have Infinite Electricity and Infinite Ammo on and accessibility such as the ladders were not added due to aesthetic purposes.
-Best way to get around the ship that can be accessed via ladders is pressing "HOME" on your keyboard or your designated keybind for free cam.
-The main battery elevation/depression and turning can be a bit agitated at times due to poor physics collision boxes (if encountered it will solve itself within a few seconds).
-Go to the backroom of the bridge and turn up the 2 levers then press the 2 buttons on the left, this will start the engines.
-Then wait for turbines to create large spinning noises then you can engage the clutch and use the throttle to move the ship.
-Weapons control is straight forward, the main batteries features stabilisation, 4.5 second autoloader and camera with crosshair located below the bridge. AA mounts are controlled locally.
It turns best at lower throttle and be careful as it can tip if it is swayed too hard or it had been steered to hard. It does feature an active stabiliser to counter act but be careful not to lean it ~60 degrees+. Do not be worried if the ship is staying at an angle after turning or being hit by a wave, it will slowly adjust upright.
This ship contains various block rooms in the hull and around the main battery caskets and engine room they are double to triple layered for extra protection. Eliminating the risk of fully sinking but being tipped over is its biggest weakness.
