Description

Have you ever wanted to test your luck, or simply take a break after a long tiring day of killing innocent NPCs with your friends?
This addon – as the title suggests – let’s you currently play Five Draw or Texas Hold’em in Garry’s Mod.
Spawn the table (Entities -> Fun + Games -> GPoker Table) and win all the money from your friend’s pockets, …or be the first one to lose all your "unlimited" money.

Poker Guide

Here is a cheat sheet of the basics if needed:

Cards
There are 52 unique cards in a single deck, each having their own Suit (♣Clubs♣, ♦Diamonds♦, ♥Hearts♥ and ♠Spades♠) and Rank (2-10, Jack (J), Queen (Q), King (K) and Ace (A)).
It’s mostly ranks that matter, unless you’re aiming for certain combinations.

Deck Combinations
From worst to best

Name
Description
Example

High Card
Highest ranked card in your deck.
(A, J, 4, 2, 10)

Pair
A single pair of cards with the same rank. Higher the cards the better.
(K, K, 8, 7, 5)

Two Pairs
A set of two pairs. Highest pair takes priority.
(A, A, 4, 4, 10)

Three of a Kind
Three cards with same rank, same with pairs, the higher the better.
(Q, Q, Q, 2, 3)

Straight
A sequence of cards.
(2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

Flush
A deck of cards with same suits
(7♥, 4♥, Q♥, J♥, 10♥)

Full House
A set of Three of a Kind and a single Pair. Three of a Kind takes priority.
(Q, Q, Q, K, K)

Four of a Kind
Four cards with same ranks.
(J, J, J, J, 2)

Straight Flush
Deck with all cards having the same suit and ranks being in a sequential order.
(8♠, 9♠, 10♠, J♠, Q♠)

Royal Flush
Best and the rarest hand possible. A sequence of cards with the same suit starting from 10.
(10♦, J♦, Q♦, K♦, A♦)

Actions
If there’s no bet, you can either:
Check – Pass on betting,
or Bet – Put up a bet.
But if there is an ongoing bet, there are three options:
Call – Accept the current bet,
Fold – Give up your cards for this round,
or Raise – Raise the current bet.
