Description:

2024_07_21: Now gnaars can be gibbed by Chainsaw.
2024_08_09: Fixed an issue caused by Gnaar Chainsaw gibbing which may cause fail to load level.

If the game fails to load some certain maps, you can find the error log in this path after you fail to load a map: steamsteamappscommonSerious Sam Fusion 2017LogSam2017_Unrestricted.log . You can open it as txt and search for "error" and the name of the map, or "fail". Here is an example:

21:09:35 ERR: Content/SeriousSamHD/Levels/00_Egypt/0_04_ValleyOfTheKings.wld:
… bla bla…

[Replacement]
Yesterday I realized that there is no sam4 enemies for TFE and TSE (only for BFE). So I made this based on Sam4 enemies for BFE. All porting works belongs to original modders, I just copied files to TFE and TSE.

Thanks to @Retronur, I stretched models to 1.11214968, so now they look more like the size of Sam1.

Known Issues:

I don’t know why but some enemies are not replaced. For example, you can see Sam1 Kleers and Sam4 Kleers charging at you the same time. This is so weird. Because, to replace enemies, you don’t need to replace every single monsters in every levels. You just replace the enemy files and the level will load them. So I don’t know how the level load sam1 enemies and sam4 enemies at the same time.

[[[2024-7-7]]] I tried to replace the models as well but it’s of no use. However, after I re-saved a level it worked (just in this level). I don’t know why but clearly I can’t re-save pack every levels.This will conflict with other mods that modified on original levels. And what about custom levels?

Flying Gnaars are in coming. I need to amputate gnaars first.
Sam4 Harp is missing in BFE. I need to port her the other day.
Cannon Kamikaze to do.
Some projectiles are not ported, especially Firecracker’s. It’s strange to see Sam4 Firecrackers shoot projectile in Sam1.
No big reptiloids, frogs, and many other TSE monsters.
Some mods use modified enemies which may not be replaced to Sam4 enemies. Such as serious+ and Stupid Remaster.
